We all need to stay in touch with colleagues, friends and family around the globe and with the many companies competing for our calling business prices are at an all time low. But even at these low prices, why pay anything? Yes it is possible to make phone calls for free; you just need to know how to go about it.
The best place to find yourself a carrier for your free phone calls is by searching the internet through a search engine. If you know how to phrase your request you will find some lesser known calling card and phone call providers that are offering free calls and credit in the hope that you will be happy with their service and call quality which will mean you may use some of their paid for services.
So what are the best terms to type in to the search engine? Well first of all you need to think about where you want to call, whether it is a landline or mobile and how you would like to make the call. For example do you want to call from your computer using a microphone and headphones? Do you want to call from your smartphone? Do you own a VOIP Phone? Do you want to use your landline by dialling a local access number?
Once you have decided you then need to target your search phrase correctly to get relevant results otherwise you will spend a lot of time signing up to companies offering a service which is not suitable for your needs. Let’s say you want to call your business partner in Italy from your landline as you don’t have a microphone on your PC. A good search phrase for this scenario would be “calling card Italy free bonus credit“ as you are asking the search engine to display results with all of your criteria included so will see specialist providers that are suitable for your requirements. We have the term ‘calling card’ as this is what we need if dialling from a landline, we have ‘free bonus credit’ as this is exactly what we want and is specific. When these terms are put together with Italy between them we will get great targeted results for our search engine query. A not so good term would be “free calls italy”. This is too generic and will display many providers that are not suitable for our needs.
In addition to our selected search term we could exclude any results that we do not want to show in the search results. So if we want the same search query as above but we do not want a free calls provider who will play adverts to fund our free call then we can append a minus (-) to any word that must be excluded in the search results. In this case we would type “calling card italy free bonus credit -advertisements” we would then get results that do not include providers who will play an advert before each call.
Of course you have to type in a phrase which is specific to your needs, but as long as you think specifically what you need and submit an accurate request to the search engine, you should find exactly what you are looking for.
